Day 13: “Two Old Women” and Midterm (Part 1)

Today, we talked about the midterm and what to expect, some study strategies, and ideas about what to look for with a day to prepare for the in-class test. Also, we talked about the first chapters of the book “Two Old Women” which is an Athabascan tale of survival, courage, and society’s treatment of their elder members of the community. It is a great discussion to have with students and talk about the oral tradition teachings and today’s modern society.Image

    • Thank you, Carmen!

I am happy to see that others are supporting both native writers and native students in their educational and literary pursuits 🙂

      Best,

      Native Literature Instructor “Mr. Angelo”
