  1. Boarding schools were like technically schools in a little house really with one teacher and a bunch of natives kids that learn about the United States

  2. Boarding schools were harsh, and they weren’t like schools today. You would live there until you were 18 years or more, and you weren’t allowed to speak your native tongue without receiving brutal punishment, you had to choose a Christian name. Basically, attending a boarding school was destroy your identity by all means possible.
