Day 15: “Two Old Women” and the class Midterm test

Today, we went over the last chapters of “Two Old Women” and had a debate session with one side being the tribal group and the other side representing the two old women. They would have a topic or theme and argue their side with as much support from their teammates as possible. The teams were very close in their points for arguments. Plus, we went over the last midterm test scores and talked about test taking strategies that would help the next time they take a test such as the challenging one they had last Friday. We have two weeks left of class filled with more stories, authors, and, of course, a final project!
